My Source

Lord you're the source of my wisdom,

Lord you're the source of my joy.

Lord you're the source of my every need,

That no one on earth can destroy.

You satisfy my life completely,

My spirit rests in your care.

You fill my emptiness so sweetly,

There's nothing that I need to fear.

Gifts

Mother's day and Father's day came along life's way,

With boys and girls hurrying, to get some gifts for  pay.

For Mother's and Father's who are very good and kind,

To search for lovely gifts they just have to find.

Big ones and small ones they search for them you see,

But have you ever noticed that the best gifts in life are free?

Like Love respect and doing right

Are always fresh and new,

And will surpass anything in Mom and Dad's value.

For it will bring them much happiness all the year round,

While gifts are used up and others bought may never more be found.

My Greatest Joy

My greatest joy, my highest goal

Is to see my Savior face to face.

Not just to enter the pearly gates

And walk the streets that's paved with gold.

Not just to tour the myriad world

And enjoy the beauty they unfold.

Not just to hear the angels sing,

And join the anthem with heavenly ring.

To talk to him who walked with me,

Who talked to me and cried with me.

Who laughed with me and guided me

When the way was so dark I could not see.

Who shared my joys and felt my pain

And gave me peace I can't explain.

And happiness the world can't give,

Who gave his life that I might live.

Is to see my Savior face to face.

To bow in adoration at his feet,

And give him thanks for saving me,

To be with him through eternity.

Precious Moments

Precious are the moments I spend with you.

Sweet are the words you speak to me

Words from your book that makes me see,

I as a sinner has been set free.

Sweet is the time I spend in prayer,

Talking with Jesus I love so dear.

Gaining the strength I need each day

To fight the battles that come my way.

Sweet are the thoughts I have of you,

As I think of your goodness the whole day through.

You are so faithful so patient and kind

You're the most wonderful friend I can find.

Fervent is the praise I lift up to you.

I praise your name for all that you do.

You answer the yearning of my soul.

I want to be with you, heaven is my goal.

Love Will Find A Way

Do you have a burden

For some soul to save?

To tell someone of Jesus

And of His life He gave?

You want to spread the good news

But don't know what to say?

If you care enough,

If you love enough,

Love will find a way.

It was Love who was rejected

By those He loved so dear.

It was love who pleaded with His people

Who did not want to hear.

It was Love who bled and suffered,

And was hung upon a tree.

Who died a cruel death

To set us sinners free.

Love will find a way.

Thou God Seest Me

God sees me in my weak estate

When Satan attacks with cruel hate.

God sees me when I'm alone and sad,

When seem to lose the friends I've had.

God sees me when I'm tempted sore,

When in my trials I can bear no more.

God sees me in the darkness dim,

When I bend my knees and call on Him.

God sees me when my faith is weak,

When pardon for my sins I seek.

He sends His angels to strengthen me,

From my burden sore he sets me free.

He sends me help in time of need,

And does my hungry spirit feed.

His loving eyes will ever be,

Upon me always seeing me.

Gratitude

I wake up in the morning in the stillness of the dawn,

And thank the Lord for waking me to greet another morn.

I don't know what the day may bring as each day passes by

But I'm sure His ever present help he will not me deny.

I ask Him for his guidance in decisions that I make,

That His counsels in His word I will not ere forsake.

I tell Him of my love for him and my desire to be true,
And how much I depend on him in everything I do.

I know His promise never fails I can depend on him,

For the assurance of His love when ere my faith grows dim.

I place my future in his hands He knows for me what's best,

For in Him I'm sure to find perfect peace and rest.
