Why should I worry

Why should I worry when Jesus has promised
To fight my battles for me.
Why should I worry when in his word
He says, "My child I'll take care of thee."

Why should I fret when others reject me,
Misunderstand and fail me.
Jesus has promised to be my constant companion,
Faithful and loving is he.

Why should I be sad when my plans fall through,
My future seems dark and grey.
My God in his loving providential care
Has worked things out his way.

I'm the God who was with Joseph,
Who set the Hebrews free.
Do not worry, do not fret,
Do not be troubled,
As I promised, I will take of thee.

God's Gifts

All of God's gifts are free
The sunshine and rain.
That ripens the grain
The flowers that covers the tree.

All of God's gifts are free
The whispering wind
The gentle breeze
The singing birds perched on the tree.

All of God's gifts are free
Salvation attained by the gift of his son
Who died to save you and me.

The good things in life are free
A helping hand
A word of cheer
Love of friends and family.

Dear God,
Give us a thankful heart
A heart of gratitude and praise
So we can love you more and more
And serve you all our days.

Less of me Lord

Less of me and more of you Lord,
Less of me and more of you.
Dwell on your goodness,
Dwell on your love,
Dwell on the beauty
Of the skies above.

Less of me and more of you Lord,
Less of me and more of you.
Talk of your mercy,
Talk of your grace,
Talk of your blessings,
To the human race.

Less of me and more of you Lord,
Less of me and more of you.
Give of my talent,
Give of my time,
Give of my service,
My dollar and dime.

Less of me and more of you Lord,
Less of me and more of you.
Go and tell others
Of all you have done,
So that all sinners
To you may be won.
